Dieties/Religions of Ni’hal

DM has opted to create custom religious content for the world and is looking for some ideas, influences. Ideas?

Here are some quick thoughs on the subject.

The essential questions to answer are monotheism or polytheism? and does society reflect the deities, or the deities reflect society?

So here are some options as to how this could work:

1 - Monotheism - One god who is neutral and doesn't get involved OR One god who sits in judgment and acts on your life accordingly OR one god who rolls the dice and your fate is just luck, oh wait, that's the DM, never mind.

2 - Polytheism - Many gods who are all equal and take on one race, alignment, domain OR many gods/demigods who may overlap domains and who may/may not work together and may/may not separate by alignment (traditional DnD)

3 - Blended - One mother/father/great spirit figure who created/bore children/gods who each claimed a domain/role in humanity's development.
