SEssions 11 and 12 Judgment Day

We have some serious catching up to do on plot. We've skipped a few recaps and dealt with real life for a while. I'll do what I can to catch the larger developments.

Upon being summoned to court, Boris Von Dunlap and Mouse have a rather pointed discussion on varying topics such as necromancy and Aunt Alcyon's part in a secret "Gray" Society that is pervasive in Lucifirium Rock, and Mouse puts forth her surmise that Jon, heir to the throne in Dolnan, having been the 5th child of Alcyon and Titus, all of who died within days of birth, has been subjected to Necromantic magic in order to cling to life. Mouse convinces Boris to call off her engagement to Jon. Mouse vows to look into this Necromancy thing more, provided Vale lets her.

Mouse is also adamant that Benny, framed as a n'er-do-well, be released at once, as he has had no part in any illegal activities. In fact, it is revealed that Benny has traced the REAL repellent down to a plant that is common in tiefling communities as part of their spiritual rituals. The plants attune to the biological communities they grow in and mimic their sounds, smells and medicinal needs. Benny simply needed access to tieflings, in order to attune the seeds of the plants. Once attuned, and taken on the smell of tiefling, the plants deflect the direction of the hoard. Upon being freed, Benny immediately set to growing and proppogating said plants and spreading them through out the valley in Lucifirium Rock, thus freeing tieflings and humanity from the walls.

Tyrus is sentenced, after his confession, to life behind the walls of The Rock.

It is revealed the Richard is under the influence of Amok and is spreading symbols of the unknown god, through the dwarves of the Boatmurder clan, throughout the city. Boris was unaware, but promises to get Richard the help he needs through the healing arts in the temple district.

Doubt is cast upon several NPCs who have suddenly vanished from town, who are now suspected of being in League with, or members of, The Gray Society - Ober, head cleric of The Raven Queen; Alcyon of Dolnan, Lady Saldor and Miss Kaylen.

Having been in a Zone of Truth spell, it is determined that the King had actually broken no laws, practiced no Necromancy and was trying to trade support for Alcyon for Hisotrical information on the family and on the hoard. Boris is released.

Queen Phoebe is called to court and makes a grand appearance. She is skeptical of the whole business, and states that she doubts any venture lead by humans. Mouse pledges support in helping the children of the city, cleaning out the drug rings, cracking down on illegal gambling and offers to replace Daryl with Florence Kelly as head of the Black Cloaks. Phoebe takes a "wait and see" approach and exits.

Exhausted, the adventurers settle in for some downtime.
